EMERGING ARTISTS PROGRAMME (2017/18)

Moving On Music’s ‘Emerging Artist Programme’ is now open for applications for the second year of the programme, kindly supported by The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

We are inviting emerging musicians (soloists or groups) and composers to apply for a place on the programme. We are interested in applications from the range of under-represented genres that Moving On Music specialise in i.e. Jazz, Chamber/Classical, Traditional, Contemporary, Roots music.

The selected artists will work with MOM during the 12-month programme, which will be tailored to address each artists individual needs and will provide a number of mentoring sessions, performance opportunities, marketing advice, material development (promotional photos, videos, etc.) and networking opportunities, with the aim of developing the artist’s careers towards professional practice.

Please note this scheme is for emerging artists only, we cannot accept applications from artists already working in a professional capacity. Likewise emerging artists must be at the point in their career where they will benefit most from this scheme; they must be over 18 and not in formal education or training for the 2017/18 year. Applications are welcome from previously unsuccessful applicants, providing they meet the criteria.
