‘The Rhythm of Youth’ – music exchange programme

As part of its commitment to international learning under The LID (Leadership through Intercultural Dialogue) Programme, Inside Out is seeking to recruit three young musicians/singers between the ages of 18 and 26 to participate in ‘The Rhythm of Youth’, a music exchange programme involving young people from Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Italy, UK and Greece.

Music workshops combined with generally beneficial content tied to music and performance is aimed at stimulating personal development and participation in society. Participants will learn vocal technique, choir singing and harmonization, composing lyrics and performance skills; additionally the basics of self-presentation as well as use of Youthpass and Europass qualifications. Through engaged in music they will learn how to critically analyse issues and express themselves creatively. They will also be exposed to the visual side of performing arts.

The programme will take place by river Kolpa in the Bela krajina region of Slovenia between 26th August (arrival day) and 3rd September (Departure Day). The costs of all food and accommodation is covered by the Erasmus+ programme and a contribution of €170 towards travel will be reimbursed following completion of the programme (Insurance is not included in the reimbursement).
